Peace and quiet go so well together it might be a shame ever to think of them apart. And right now peace and quiet abound here and it is enjoyable to spend a few moments in their presence.
Whilst the benefits of a period of tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life are well known, as already covered in a previous post here, reminding myself of them from time to time is not a bad thing.
The peaceful scene lends itself to the sense of calmness. Only the gently flowing water lapping against the bank breaks the near silence. Yet the sound merely adds to the pleasure of the moment.
And as the saying goes: “The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.”
Thanks for spending some moments here in the peace and quiet of now. If you’d like to contact me, I can be reached by e-mail, through my website, blog or via Twitter.
Thanks again and goodbye for now.
Brian.
