Question of style

“Concision in style, precision in thought, decision in life” – Victor Hugo.

A question of style, a question of taste, a question of being ourselves. Choosing what to wear is for some no less important than other actions linked to one’s values.

Each person, consciously or subconsciously, assigns relevance to various areas of life. Accordingly, the question of style need not be viewed through the eyes of anyone but the individual concerned. What constitutes style for X might not even make one of Y’s Pinterest boards. As Victor Hugo could have cried: “Vive la différence!”

Leaving aside the aspect of price, beyond the glamour and glitz also the question of style comes down to what we as freethinking souls want. We get to choose and this too possibly adds to the richness of life.

Thanks for choosing to read this today. If you’d like to join the conversation regarding the question of style, please feel free to leave a comment below.

Kindest regards.

Brian.
