Looking beyond

Hove seafront

“You must look within for value, but must look beyond for perspective.” Denis Waitley.

Looking beyond the immediate to what could be is an exercise we may choose to undertake from time to time.

Whether our perspective expands or not, however, is possibly conditioned by what we desire to see.

Looking beyond our daily sights can stir our imagination from the usual to the fantastic. Likewise the newness of our vision can provide input to our creativity. Back in 2010, in the blog post entitled ‘Beyond the horizon’ (click here to read), I suggested: “there is always a new horizon for us.”

Maybe by looking beyond we get to see also this.

Thanks for being here today. Your input would surely enrich the conversation. If you wish, please feel free to leave a comment below on the issue of looking beyond.

Kindest regards.

Hello Brian—I love this post. Adventuring within AND beyond is surely the ultimate in an Earthly life of soul balance. The subject could take a lifetime of study! Suffice to say; ‘intoxicating’ ‘thrilling’ ‘nourishing’ ‘truth.’
With thanks for sharing your wisdom and insight,
