In the shade

Chairs in the shade

“The sunshine of life comes complete with moments in the shade.” #bgdtcoaching.

Just as we may choose on a sunny day to sit in the shade, life – and with it also work – puts forward for us moments figuratively in the shade.

For whatever reasons, at times we might wish to step back from stepping forward. Being in the shade gives us a chance to gather our thoughts, rebalance our senses and just let ourselves catch our breath for a while.

Life is fantastic in the proverbial sunshine, yet the warning of too much sunshine from the perspective of a full-on existence is worth recalling. Giving ourselves a moment or two in the shade as life flows without our input provides balance to our days.

In the shade, in the sunshine, sitting quietly, rushing ahead, we can choose to enjoy it all. Life truly offers us a variety of moments. Regardless of where you are right now, in the shade or in the sunshine, thanks for reading this today.

For now, thanks again.

Brian.
