“A cloudy day is no match for a sunny heart.” #bgdtcoaching.
A cloudy day, figuratively speaking, could be the description of any day in which things appear out of kilter, contrary to the customary flow of life. Though it is not easy to put into words, I imagine each of us can connect to the idea of a cloudy day.
Nothing bad needs to be occurring, but something is just not as it usually is. Maybe we give it the same effort, energy and attention as ever. However our input is unable to clear the sky of a cloudy day.
Yet without slipping into undiluted optimism, a cloudy day is no match for a sunny heart. By holding this thought, ideally in our heart, we can stand up to the challenge before us and offer the moment our full potential.
That said, a cloudy day in its own way at least provides us with a contrast to the ‘normal’ successful day we most likely experience for the majority of the year. It keeps us conscious that everything is transient, both good things and bad things. And during a cloudy day we should never forget at worst it will only last twenty-four hours.
No matter how you are living today, as a sunny or a cloudy day, thanks for reading this.
