What is on offer might be a question related to what we are looking for. Nowadays we are surrounded by just about all things imaginable. Asking what is on offer could be answered in one word: “Everything!”
However, just because we can have, at least in theory, all we want, does not mean we really need it. Having satisfied basic needs, quenched our thirst for long-held dream items and indulged in a few extravagancies, what else do we need?
What is on offer at times seems to be proverbial chewing gum for our minds/wallet. Consuming more and more may be a strategy for stimulating economies, setting aside questions of increasing debt. Yet to what extent does obtaining more produce additional happiness?
Each of us will know in our heart the response to this dilemma. The threshold for adding more of anything is as individual as we are, regardless of what is on offer.
As the shops are still open and the online outlets never sleep, I won’t keep you any longer. If you are off to see what is on offer, let me just thank you for stopping by here today.
