At times it could seem our objectives have been set a little high. Things may appear too difficult for us despite our good intentions and best efforts. And indeed our consideration might turn out to be right once in a while.

However, if we think back to our achievements making up last year, we can find some, or possibly even many of them, came about notwithstanding a similar initial assessment of the underlying goal for each being a little high for our capabilities.

Many people facing something for the first time have a natural tendency to be dismissive of the possibility of success in the endeavour. The task is thought way beyond our existing comfort zone and success resides on a level a little too high for us to reach.

But, referring to last year’s wins, we did get there, we achieved this and that. Today we are where we are thanks to our commitment to the goal rather than the belief or knee-jerk thought of whatever being a little high for us to grasp.
