Embracing the light

Lights

Our outlook shines bright through our words and actions as we go about embracing the light of our values. We all, in our unique way, embody the ideas and guidelines making up our personal code of being.

Possibly certain views have been passed on to us from previous generations, or respected folk within our community of influence. It could be we are embracing the light, without even having given ourselves the time and space to explore the ongoing validity to us nowadays.

Whatever the origins of our outlook, by embracing the light of our values we are not only moving forward in our chosen direction, but perhaps also acting as a point of reference for those around us.

To quote from Our deepest fear by Marianne Williamson: “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

Thanks for reading this ‘Embracing the light‘ post today.

Kindest regards.

Brian.
