Three ways action brings dreams to life

Following the post ‘Where are your dreams leading you?’, now might be a good time to ponder three ways action brings dreams to life.

The first of the three ways action brings dreams to life is related to the question of momentum. By taking action we set in motion energy that will move us forward. Thinking and planning without action do not provide the same impact.

The second of the three ways action brings dreams to life is associated with self-belief. By taking an action step we provide ourselves with the evidence we have the ability to make progress. And this is a key factor in obtaining our dreams.

The third of the three ways action brings dreams to life involves the priority we give our dreams through our actions. There is a big difference between taking action and merely talking about wanting to achieve something. Choices are reflected in priorities and made visible by action.

Quoting a tweet from a few years ago: “A dream not followed by action can quickly become a nightmare”.
