Village Life Haiku is a collection of poems – composed of seventeen syllables set out in three lines of five, seven and five syllables each – chronicling a visit to a village of approximately 1,200 inhabitants in Molise, Italy, during one recent summer.
Capturing the moment, Village Life Haiku consists of 155 poems. My intention with this book is to offer escape and enjoyment as you read the reflections on a reality different to daily life in a big city.
