Life teaches us many things but one of the key lessons we should possibly take on board is that of building resilience on a daily basis.
According to the Oxford Dictionary of English, the adjective ‘Resilient’ refers to a person or animal being “able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions”.
With challenges turning up to test our resolve and determination to reach our goals it is easy to appreciate the need for building resilience on a daily basis. And as it is never clear how much resilience we will need to have stored up, topping it up every day is not a bad habit to acquire.
It could be argued our resilience is like a muscle that develops with use. If this is the case, each setback might be looked at as a workout for our ‘building resilience on a daily basis’ efforts.
Trusting we are capable of dealing with whatever comes our way derives also from those activities regarding building resilience on a daily basis.
