As much as we can associate with our daily activities, living beyond the nine-to-five routine suggests we are embracing life in the full sense of the word.
Whereas we might find comfort in doing things ‘because we have always done them’, at times it is worth reflecting on the value and direction they are providing. Living beyond the nine-to-five routine taps into the idea of connecting with our life purpose and working consistently to achieve it.
By living beyond the nine-to-five routine we give ourselves the opportunity to, as a wise person once suggested, keep our toes in the details and our eyes on the bigger picture.
Together these positions offer us an approach to dealing with the challenges of the present while continually striving towards our future objectives.
As ever, your thoughts on the ideas raised here are much welcomed so please feel free to leave a comment below. In any case, thanks for stopping by to read this ‘Living beyond the nine-to-five routine’ post.
