Speaking loudly with silence

July 2, 2020

The world is a noisy place, but speaking loudly with silence doesn’t add to the music or din of everyday life.

We communicate much more than we possibly realize when we go about speaking loudly with silence. Depending on the situation, any of the following can be the message we transmit without words:

a) Approval, disapproval or indifference;

b) Acceptance of the moment, even without liking it;

c) Joy or anger. Our facial expressions might, in certain instances, do the talking for us.

On the list could go. Yet as noted, speaking loudly with silence, at least, doesn’t add to background noise. And maybe it is for the best that our silence is drowned out.

Thanks for reading this ‘Speaking loudly with silence’ post and please don’t hesitate to like and share it.

Kindest regards.
